Design your trip
Choose trip dates and complete our online waiver and registration form for winter or summer.
Payment of a $400 non-refundable booking fee for winter, $100 for summer, plus 20% of trip cost is required to reserve your winter trip.
Final Payment is due October 1 for winter trips, June 1 for summer trips. Payment can be made EMT, CC over the phone, cheque, or Paypal.

Cancellation policy
Sol Mountain does not provide refunds if you are unable to come at the last minute due to injury, illness, health related issues, personal or family issues, travel complications or restrictions, inability to enter the country, border closures etc. Trips will not be cancelled due to weather or snow conditions.
All payments are non-refundable unless we (or you) are able to rebook the space at full price. Any refunds from Sol Mountain will be less the $400 Non- Refundable Booking Fee for winter trips and $200 for summer trips.
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Waiver of Liability
Sol Mountain is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable mountain experience. Ski touring in the backcountry mountain environment exposes skiers to inherent risks. All guests must read and agree to sign a digital Release of Liability and Waiver of Claims Agreement with online registration. A paper copy will be provided to sign at the start of your trip. This is common practice for all backcountry ski operations in British Columbia. Be sure to review the waiver prior to your holiday. Contact us if you have any questions.
Insurance
Trips will not be cancelled due to weather conditions, poor ski conditions, illness or injury, cancellations due to border crossing problems, or personal unexpected circumstances.
Trip Cancellation Insurance is available from Lifestyle Financial, your local travel agent, Travel Underwriters 1-800-663-5389, or is often included with your credit card transaction.

WINTER 2023/24 REFUND POLICY
If you are unable to make the trip your best option is to find a replacement and recover your costs. Provide Sol Mountain office with replacement guest contact information.
If Sol Mountain is able to re-book your space at full rate you will be refunded total trip cost or transferred to another trip less the $400 Non –Refundable Booking Fee.
If Sol Mountain is unable to operate due to Covid related restrictions or outbreaks guests have two options:
- Sol Mountain will refund your trip cost less the $400 Non Refundable Booking Fee, or
- Transfer to the following year the total trip cost less the $400 Non-Refundable Booking Fee.

Assumption of Risks
Adventures at Sol Mountain Lodge can include activities that at times may have a higher-than-normal element of risk. Once you venture into the backcountry you are entering an uncontrolled environment. At Sol Mountain Lodge we do our utmost to allow you to enjoy an exhilarating yet safe experience.
Guided trips are led by highly-trained, professionally-certified members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. Safety always comes first, Sol Mountain Lodge strives to ensure it is a key component of any backcountry experience.
In order to help you be aware of the level of risk associated with the specific backcountry activity you are participating in, we encourage you to review the “Assumption of Risks” portion on the Sol Mountain Lodge Waiver. This will allow you to be prepared, have peace of mind and make your trip as memorable as possible.
