17 cm new snow, -8.0, snowing, light southwest winds.

40 - 50 cm recent storm snow overlies the December 16 melt freeze crust. Extensive wind effect all open areas. Up to 120 cm storm overlies the Dec 1 surface hoar in sheltered terrain treeline and below, and isolated sun crust on steep SW asp. November 21 melt freeze crust is down 100-140 cm. Recent storm cycles have filled things in nicely.
