New snow over small surface hoar and settled storm snow, skiing well in sheltered terrain. Thin rime crust has broken. Wind effect in terrain exposed to previous NW winds. 100 - 120 cm settled storm snow overlies the December 16 melt freeze crust.

Groups back in the alpine yesterday - on Sol Mtn and Sol Bowl, Tunnel Vision, another group on the safari tour C’est Bon, Ned Zone, to Merlot; and Chardonnay, Shiraz.

No new avalanches yesterday.
