Up to 25 cm recent storm snow overlies wiidespread surface hoar treeline and below, over sun crust on solar aspects, and another surface hoar and sun crust down 20 cm. 40-50 cm recent storm snow overlies crust on south asp and previous treeline melt freeze, shallow dry pow in select sheltered terrain. Total 70 - 100 cm settled storm slab over the January 28 layer of surface hoar over various hardpack crusts.

Yesterday was one of those perfect backcountry ski days. Good skiing everywhere. One group on Sol Mtn skiing the bowl and Tunnel Vision, another group over in Balfin Bowl and Baldurzone, and the Elite group skiing Repeater slopes in the sun.
