Spring is in the air. 15-25 cm settled storm snow overlies the thick March 21 crust on steep north aspects above 2000 m. Sun crust on solar aspects, temperature crust below 2000 m, wind effect ridge top and alpine.

Spring skiing conditions yesterday, cold pow on the north and hot pow and corn everywhere else. Group on Mt. Baldur skiing the ridge, Balfin Bowl (pic), and Laid Back. Another group to Sol Mtn skiing the bowl and Starbucks. Group 3 to Caribou Pass skiing Chardonnay, Malbec and from the pass.

Loose wet avalanches to size 1.5 yesterday.
