7 cm overlies recent surface hoar and sun crust. 30-40 cm recent storm snow overlies crust on south asp and previous treeline melt freeze, shallow dry pow in select sheltered terrain. Total 70 - 100 cm settled storm slab over the January 28 layer of surface hoar over various hardpack crusts.

All guests on the summit of Sol Mountain yesterday. Good skiing in the bowl, and even better skiing below tree line in north facing Tubal, Burnt Knob, Blind Faith, Banana Belt, and Hoods in the Woods.

Skiers popped out a few small size 1 pockets of windslab yesterday.
