BC backcountry skiing and hiking lodge south of Revelstoke and east of Silver Star resorts in the heart of the Monashees
Sol Mountain's BC backcountry skiing and hiking lodge is located in the southern Monashee Mountains east of Monashee Provincial Park, 60 km south of Revelstoke Mountain Resort and 60 km East of Silver Star ski resort.
From Kelowna International Airport, drive 45 minutes north on Highway 97 to Vernon. Then travel 45 minutes east on Highway 6 through Lumby to Cherryville. Look for The Riverridge Golf Course on your left.
We meet you at Riverridge Golf Course at 7:30am to sign waivers and have breakfast if you like. After breakfast we drive to Cherryville and turn left at the Tempo Gas and go 20 minutes north to the staging area, watch for the Sol Mountain sign on your right. The 15-minute flight to the lodge, every Sunday at 9:30am, is included in the cost of your trip to Sol. In the event it is unsafe to fly due to bad weather the exchange will be postponed to the following day. In this case you are responsible for your own accommodation.
Shuttle service is available from Kelowna and Vernon to our staging area near Cherryville.
