Sol Mountain Lodge sits in an expansive sub alpine meadow surrounded by Monashee ridges and summits.  Perched on a southerly aspect the lodge captures sun from the early morning to the evening sunsets on the covered deck.  

The lodge is a fully serviced facility complete with indoor plumbing and electricity, really more akin to a resort in the backcountry.  The spacious dining and living area on the main floor is rimmed by large windows to enjoy the Monashee views.  There is room for everyone to lounge on couches and comfy chairs around the fire.  A sitting room on the top floor offers a secluded space for reading, stretching, and absorbing the view.  

Our experienced chefs create exciting new flavours each day, starting with appetizers served when you return from your day in the mountains. Specific dietary needs can be easily accommodated - just let us know in advance.  Choose from a fine selection of local and import beer or local wines served at the bar.  We also have a variety of quality shirts, sweaters, and hats available to purchase.

Evenings are spent relaxing and socializing to recharge the body for another day of adventure in the mountains.  Downstairs we have darts and a foozball table, and a workbench available gear repair.  There is also a wood fired cedar sauna a short walk outside the main entrance.  Experience the therapeutic Finnish tradition – your skin will never feel healthier.

Eight seperate bedrooms sleep two guests each on quality high density foam mattresses.  Each bedroom has a double or queen bed and a twin.  Six bedrooms are outfitted with an additional twin bunk to accommodate families.  Bathrooms are shared with five toilets and three showers in the lodge.
